Save.ca Review, Tips, Links!

Save.ca - First online coupon magazine in Canada!

SAVE.CA mails coupons to you for free through Canada post. These type of coupons are often referred to as Snail mail coupons-they actually arrive quite quickly though.. This review offers a bit of background, along with links and tips to help you get the most from Save.ca.

SAVE.CA HistorySave.ca

SAVE.CA is a Canadian corporation operating in the packaged goods coupon industry.
For almost 20 years, SAVE.CA has been providing Canadian consumers, with valuable discount coupons for their favourite grocery items and health and beauty products.
In the late 80s Save.ca used Canada Post to distribute coupon booklets (Plan & SAVE) to more than 4 million Canadian homes. In the 90s they used Canada’s major daily newspapers to distribute a magazine/coupon insert to millions of homes across the country. By 2000, as usage and popularity of the web was growing, they introduced SAVE.CA — the very first online coupon magazine in Canada where they showcased some of Canada’s leading packaged goods brands.

Save.ca coupons have been accepted at each store where I redeemed them. SAVE.CA Interesting Features

SAVE.CA has a number of other interesting features as well.

  • Recipes Did you know, that when you mouse over a food coupon on Save.ca, it often shows a printable recipe for the product? I like getting these new recipe ideas,as it can really help save a lot of time too.
  • Reordering Info Another handy feature is the notification that tells you how long it will be till you can order a coupon again. It would be helpful if it were possible to integrate this feature with a 'save to my calendar' link'.
  • Social Media Sharing-Save.ca has a Facebook share link for each coupon,so you can send your friends a heads up on Facebook when a coupon is available. Save.ca might want to think about putting an 'AddThis button on their site,as it could allow users to share a link to the coupon from a wider variety of social media sites.
  • Facebook Page-There is no link on their site to The Save.ca Facebook page ,so it may not be an official page. The Save.ca Facebook page has not been updated since August 2011.So I'm wondering what is happening there.

Save.ca Coupon Page Links

Save.ca also has special coupon pages for its clients,in addition to its main page. Watch this post for updates on the Save.ca coupon pages. Here are links to Save.ca coupon pages these pages are active at different times, and they can change on a daily basis,so check back often.
